Calculator data
Birth dates entered into the calculator and compatibility tool are processed locally in your browser. The site does not send or store those dates on a Zodiac Weave server.
Shared links
A shared result link contains derived data only: Western sign, Chinese zodiac animal, Five Element, and Yin–Yang polarity. A shared comparison link contains the same derived data for two people. It does not contain either original birth date.
Email delivery
If you ask us to email a result, we use the address only to send that result and to support delivery. The address is stored separately from any calculation and retained for 30 days. Birth dates are never stored or attached to the address, and the address is not used for marketing unless you separately opt in.
Cookies and analytics
We use a self-hosted Plausible Community Edition service to understand aggregate traffic and whether the calculator and compatibility tool return a result. It does not set analytics cookies, use advertising identifiers, or create a Zodiac Weave account profile.
The analytics request contains the canonical page path without its query string or fragment. Private shared-result pages are excluded. External referrers are reduced to their website origin. Fixed product events measure calculator and compatibility submissions and successful results, selected next-step links, and result-email submission and acceptance. These events have no custom properties. We do not send birth dates, derived zodiac signs, Five Elements, Yin–Yang polarity, email addresses, or share-channel choices to Plausible. Standard connection data such as an IP address and browser user agent may be processed by the self-hosted service to produce aggregate visitor statistics.
Contact and purchases
Future contact forms or paid reports may require an email address and payment processing through a third-party provider. Those features are not part of this release. Any such collection will be disclosed at the point of use.

Accounts
You can optionally create an account with an email address and password, or with Google. We store the account email, a display name, and whether the email is verified. A password is stored only as a hash. Google sign-in stores the link to that Google account. We do not ask Google for your contacts.
Saved results store derived signs only: Western sign, Chinese zodiac animal, Five Element, and Yin–Yang polarity. Birth dates are not stored in an account and are not placed in a result link. You can delete the account from the account page. Deletion removes the account, its sessions, and its saved results.
Account measurement counts registration, successful new saves, and visits to the account page on a later UTC date than registration. It uses a keyed, one-way code derived from the account id and records the event type and time, without email addresses, birth dates, or result content. A return is counted once per account per UTC day. Reporting exposes aggregate account and event counts only; internal and reserved test accounts are excluded. These records are separate from the account and do not contain a direct account identifier.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
